This page is dedicated to the McAlpine & McDonald families, and their generous neighbours. For the past 3 years, they have staged a spectacular Christmas display, with fundraising activities that have led to thousands of dollars of donations. This event was initiated by Kira McAlpine with the help of both families 3 years ago. The Children's Hope Foundation is the lucky recipient of all profits raised from the event, being a kid's charity in the local area.

For 8 nights leading into Christmas Eve, they are up late hours serving sausage sizzles, santa photos, espresso coffee, slushies, and reindeer food alongside the wishing well. As well, the two house displays incorporate lighting, statues and sleds, as well as a snow machine that blasts out over some of the display.

Thank you also to the community, who support the event in their thousands, often donating money without receiving anything but the enjoyment of seeing the display in action. This really sets our community above any other for spirit of generosity. Thank you all.
