The Children's Hope Foundation
We are a registered charity based in south west Sydney NSW.
Our purpose is to help children overcome physical and intellectual disabilities. "Every child deserves a childhood." Our efforts initially focused on children in the Macarthur region of Sydney, but we have expanded the geographical scope to assist special case needs. We pass on the maximum amount possible that we raise from our sponsors and public. No directors, committee or volunteers take any payment - all funds go to helping children. 3 years ago, a group of neighbours got behind the brain-child of Kira McAlpine. The McAlpines and the McDonalds put together a Christmas display that was not only outstanding, but has raised thousands of dollars for The Children's Hope Foundation. Every cent of profit from the BBQ, the Santa photos, the wishing well & reindeer food, through to a share of the coffee & slushies - is donated. This year, a record of $3,512 was raised. During the week, local Radio Station C91.3 sent around the road crew to give out goodies. The streets were crowded with hundreds of families. Behind it all was about 20 of the best people you'd find in any community - doing it over and over again, 8 nights in a row.

Alyssa Miller Story
Click on the photo to read the Alyssa Miller story. Alyssa is a little girl who was diagnosed with childhood leukemia and required a bone marrow transplant.
The family was dealt a blow when funds raised for them by another party went missing. The Millers friends and family lost some faith and their money, before the Children's Hope Foundation stepped in to help. |
Our Beneficiaries
Please take a moment to watch the video below. It showcases our special relationship with Beverley Park School and Mary Brooksbank School, both located in the Macarthur area. It shows the difference we can make to the lives of the children and their families. Our thanks to the producer, Shannon Swan who donated his time & skills for free, as well as the parents, teachers, and of course .... the children in this film.
